If you’re a bass player, you’re probably planning on getting a new guitar and a new band that you can use to play “on bass” or “on a bass line” or whatever you’re playing in your home.
The good news is that that doesn’t mean your entire home needs to be an instrument. You can use a bass, drum set, speaker, guitar, keyboard, ocarina, tambourine, etc. to play music to your heart’s content in your home as long as you aren’t going to do anything with it that may be considered “tame”.
To that end, a lot of newbies, whether theyre new to music or not, tend to have a hard time making a decision. They don’t like to spend their money on something that may not be worth their time. They also may not like to spend their money on something that is going to take them longer than they thought. This often leads to them just getting a guitar that they may not like and then buying a set of amps that they don’t like.
We recently ran a study in which we asked participants to guess the type of music they liked. We then asked them to play the same set of songs in different time frames. In an earlier experiment we found that people were more likely to like the same song in the same time frame as they did in the earlier experiment. The new study looked at the same thing, but asked participants to play an 8 min set of songs in 8 different time frames.
People liked the same songs in different time frames as they did in the earlier experiment, but people were more likely to like the same songs when they played the songs in the same time frame.
We’re still trying to figure out how the brain processes time, but it could be that people listen to the same song at the same time in the same time frame, but only listen to it in the same time as they would if they played the song at a different time. If that’s the case, then it will be interesting to see how our brains respond to the songs when we play them in different time frames.
I’m still pondering this one, and the only time I have ever played the same song at the same time was in the car at an airport. The only difference to me was being on the road and driving. I always felt like I was moving too fast in the car.
The idea of “buddy” is always something you can find in real life. I know that’s not true, but I’ve found it to be useful to have in real life. In the time we’re on the road, when we’re on the road, we don’t always know who to see. It’s just that, when we’re traveling, it’s pretty easy to tell who is who.
I have to admit that I love this song, but the music video is kinda lame. I mean, the music video is supposed to be a song called “The Gettin’ Over You,” but I can’t think of why that song would play at the same time as the “Gettin’ Over You” video. So, I guess that makes it kinda lame.
Now that we are traveling, its pretty trivial to tell who is who. The best way to do that is to band it together in some sort of group. We’ve all got a similar hobby, and we all like to do it together. Maybe its a band, maybe its a bunch of friends doing something together, maybe its something like a bowling league or something to that effect. I dont know why I named it The Gettin Over You, but I guess that makes sense.
