A few days before the end of the day, I think I have to take a break (or a few minutes) to clear my head about the time-line of my life. If I had to choose between the good and the bad, I would choose the good times.

I’m not sure how much weight anyone’s really supposed to play it safe with, but I think it’s better to err on the side of the bad. So I would say that you would want to do a short, intense workout every day. But you definitely don’t want to do a long rest day. I think that’s a matter of personal preference and how much you want to get in the gym.

To be honest, I don’t really know what the best time is to take a rest day, except for all the rest days I’ve taken in the past. I would say that between 9 and 11 is a good time to take a rest day. You can always take a longer rest day, but I think you can probably take a shorter rest day too.

It’s easy for someone who is a lazy person to say that you have to take a rest day at 9:00 am, or that you have to take a rest day at 1:00 pm, or that you have to take a rest day at 11:00 pm. But, a rest day should be taken at any hour of the day, morning, afternoon, or evening, no matter what time it is.

A rest day is especially important on a Friday night because you can take a nap during the day or take a nap during the evening. I was recently on a Friday and after taking a nap I came home to the same house I went to the previous Friday. I couldn’t sleep, and I was in the same bed. So, after sitting up for an hour I finally went to bed. I stayed up and then fell asleep immediately.
