monohydrate vs hcl

The primary difference between mono- and poly- is that poly- is a higher molecular weight material. The highest molecular weight poly-salt is the type of sodium poly-carnosene used in the creation of many high-end polyurethane coatings.

I’ve been using mono-carnosene (Sodium Polycarnosene, or mono-MCP) for years now and have always liked it. It’s a high molecular weight (but still low molecular weight) poly-type of salt in which you can use sodium for all your cationic (active) sites. This type of salt gives more strength to the resulting polyurethane.

Monohydrate is a higher molecular weight material. The highest molecular weight poly-salt is the type of sodium poly-carnosene used in the creation of many high-end polyurethane coatings.Ive been using mono-carnosene Sodium Polycarnosene, or mono-MCP for years now and have always liked it.

This is a great salt that is also good for a lot of other things, such as the polyurethane in a lot of the things I paint in my home to give a really nice smooth glossy finish. But when it comes to making a low-moisture paint, my favorite salt is poly-hydroxyethyl-starch aka monohydrate.

As a long-time salt-of-choice, I love the easy preparation and the way it gives a smooth, silky finish. But I also like it because it is the most available type of salt right now. I have been using it for years for everything from painting my walls to painting my ceilings to painting my ceilings to painting my floors to painting my ceiling to painting my ceiling. It makes a great high-moisture paint.

But I also like that there are many types of salt out there. Monohydrate has a higher viscosity than salt, but it retains its strength better when in motion. It is a good choice if you want a low-moisture paint and you have small areas to paint. But if you are a big fan of salt, you might want to check out some other salts like hcl or carboxy methyl cellulose (CMC).

The best way to describe hcl is “filler”. It is like a thick glue that you don’t want to mess with, you can apply it by hand, or by using a spray bottle. It is usually a lower viscosity than your other paints, but still you can layer it on.

The best way to describe monohydrate is “sticky” and it is great for smaller areas. If you are painting entire rooms you need to use a good primer like stucco or spray paint. Also if you are going to paint around a window a high quality stain is a good choice. A low-moisture one is fine too.

Hcl is a higher-viscosity paint. It is easier to apply, dries quicker, and can be layered to cover more area. Also, it is good for larger areas, it doesnt dry as fast as monohydrate but it does hold up better and can be layered on to cover larger areas.

The key here is to use the primer or stain as if you were painting the whole room. If you are painting a wall, you may have to sand it first before painting. Then, you can apply the stain or primer and just have it dry-brush it down.
