This new form of cardio is great to work on your abs, upper body, and triceps. This is especially true if you are doing barbell rows. When rowing, you engage your core musculature by pulling your legs directly up toward your chest. While doing this, your core muscles are actually working out. When you do this with dumbbells, you don’t pull your legs up toward your chest, and instead you push your legs straight up and away from your body.
This is the same principle that is being applied to the reverse grip barbell row. By pulling on your grip bar, you are actually pulling on your abdominals in order to activate your core musculature. This is a great way for you to work both your abs and triceps.

When you’re doing a straight pull, you’re forcing your abs to go back toward you. This would stop your abs from working at their full potential, and instead would cause them to work as hard as they can.

It may be a good thing for some people, but if you use this machine you’ll be pulling your abs in the wrong direction.
The way we work our abs is by using the reverse grip barbell row machine, but the way we did it was not so much the reverse grip barbell row machine as it was the reverse grip barbell row. By using the reverse grip barbell row machine, we were doing the opposite of what we were doing on the reverse grip barbell row machine. Since we are using the reverse grip barbell row machine, we are forcing our abs to move toward us.
A lot of people think this is a good idea, but not everyone agrees.
