It is a bit of a cliché, but we tend to alternate heel touches as a form of self-awareness. This exercise is one of those that I do when I’m starting to grow weary of something and it feels like an important part of my training. It is always a challenge to keep up with my own body’s natural oscillations, but sometimes you just have to feel the rhythm.
In alternating heel touches we remind ourselves that we’re in the body of the other person. We feel that we can be the other person if we feel the other person’s rhythm. In alternating heel touches, we remind ourselves of this rhythm and this connection so that it is felt as a part of our own body. This is a part of our self-awareness, but it is also one of the ways we remember to use the body as a part of our self.
Our bodies are a part of our self-awareness and an important part of our self-awareness. Whether it is the way we feel when we are sitting still or when we are in a car, how we feel when we are in bed, or in our relationship with friends, our bodies are there to remind us of our own selves and their own rhythms.
This is something we all experience, but we often forget it. In fact, it can be a part of our self-awareness. A person who has the ability to take their feet off of the ground will experience more balance when they have a partner than if they don’t. For instance, if you can take your foot off the ground, you will more easily be able to stand up when you are tired.
For example, I’ve heard of a friend of mine who could walk, but was always unable to stand up in a chair. They could walk, but often they would experience balance problems. The same thing could be said about someone who has the ability to take their feet off the ground. They have a much better chance of being able to stand up in a chair than someone who is not allowed to take their feet off the ground.
I’m not sure I like the term “alternating heel touches” because it seems to have a negative connotation. It’s an example of something that can affect someone’s health. How could they not be able to take their feet off a chair? There is a chance that someone who is constantly on the ground can suffer from a disease such as osteoporosis.
I think this is a good example of how a negative connotation can also be a good thing. The alternating heel touches can help people feel more balanced and not so constantly on the ground (although maybe that would be a bad thing too, I don’t know). But the fact that the health benefits can be useful also can lead to some people being more prone to falling over.
I think the reason many people fall over is that they are so prone to falling over during exercise, walking, or other activities that don’t involve a lot of standing. People will fall over because there isn’t enough support for their bodies to resist the force of gravity when they’re on the ground.
