I’ve been called a non-responder for a long time. It seems that when people talk about non-responders they often talk about the person who isn’t responding to what they have said.
In my experience non-responders tend to be the ones who dont reply to the text message that they arent getting. This is because they are often the ones who dont want to be bothered with a message. In the case of non-responders, they are either extremely lazy, or they dont want to be bothered and arent willing to deal with the hassle.
One thing that non-responders often forget to do is to reply. For example, when someone says “My boss is being rude today.” Non-responders often reply, “Sorry boss, I cant wait for my overtime work to be finished.
A non-responder is usually a person who just wants to be ignored, or a person who has no idea how to be ignored. A person who replies but does not say that he or she is ignoring the message might actually be an attention seeker who does not want to be ignored. A person who does not reply but continues to be ignored might be a person who does not want to be ignored.
The difference between an “attention seeker” and a “non-responder” is really not that large. Non-responders are people who do not respond because they have nothing worthwhile to say. Attention seekers usually want to be ignored, but they do not want to be ignored. They are usually people who have something interesting to say, but do not know how to say it.
A non-responder could be a person who is only interested in your presence, perhaps because you are making them a priority, or a person who is only interested in your absence, perhaps because they have something to say.
