It’s true that protein helps you build muscle, but it’s also true that you are going to experience increased levels of insulin, which is a hormone that tells your brain to store more fat. So a meal with lots of protein is also going to help prevent you from getting fat. So if you need to eat protein in order to lose weight, then it’s not just for muscle.

So what is the deal with protein bars? Well, they’re like a protein shake, only no one is trying to make it into something that’s going to help you lose weight. Because while they do contain high levels of protein, they’re also full of fat and sugar. I think the best way to explain this is to go back to how all protein shakes are made. You need to boil water and add the correct amount of protein powder to it.

How does this all tie into fat, protein, and sugar? Well, the first problem is that not every protein powder is made the same way. Some are just better at extracting the protein from the water, while others are better at melting the fat. So when you eat a protein bar, you are effectively taking a full, fat, protein shake, and putting it in your mouth. I think you can also see how this all ties into fat and sugar.
